Summary: Sherlock had never really acknowledged that he was an omega until John walked into his life and showed him what it was to love and be loved. Even then Sherlock still ruthlessly quashed the majority of his omega instincts - except for in those nine days every three months when he positively revelled in every single one of them - and he certainly never allowed the impulse to breed even the tiniest bit of house room in his mind; too focused on the work and finding his way through the intricacies of a relationship. But sometimes biology just won’t be denied and now Sherlock no longer has a choice about accepting his true nature.
