Stories where John is actually a woman?
Hello everyone,
If you guys would be so kind as to please recommend any and all John-is-female stories, I would be ever so grateful. I am particularly interested in stories where John has always been female, rather than where he becomes female in some way. I'm sure there are plenty of "Joan Watson" stories out there (though any other name for the character is fine, as well, the whole "Joan" thing is a little overdone, I'm sure). My only stipulation is that it really is the same character. Same background, same meeting (although I suppose a slight deviation to this would be fine).
I've read (and loved) tons of Sherlock/John slash stories, and am interested to see how that friendship/romance would develop if the army doctor who "saved" Sherlock just so happened to have a different kind of genitalia. Especially if Sherlock were depicted in the same way he is in the show, i.e., as someone who seems initially to have no interest in sex and possibly little to no experience with it.
So, please, hit me with it! And if you have a Fem!John story that you think doesn't fit my criteria, just go ahead and rec that one, too, and I'll still give it a look and see if I'm interested.
