Tess of the D'Urbervilles
Hey all,
First time posting here, long time lurker.
Anyway, I have a question for all of you concerning Tess of the D'Urbervilles. I've known the story now for a while, but finally got around to watching an adaption last night. I bawled my eyes out. The first one I watched was the most recent one, the 2009 Tess with Gemma Arterton and I loved it.
I'm currently in the middle of watching the Justine Waddell version and I was wondering people's thoughts as to which of the two versions is better.
Now, I know there are a few more versions, but I was wondering specifically about comparisions between these two ( I already have a few character comparisions myself)--especially do which one comes out on top.
