Yes, and I have really liked. It looks very "theatre" because 70's series didn't have so much money. As I am not a big fan of the modern series and this one sticks more to the book, I was happy. Anyway, in any case, I think you have to have an open mind, to not feel prejudiced. If you watch it that way, you will like it or even love it, like me.
In any case, I am waiting for my brit DVD, which seems to have more minutes or something else than the US DVD...something I can't understand.

I have to be honest. It's not that important to me on how close it follows the novel. I only hope that I will maintain my interest, while watching it.
