I haven't seen this season yet, too afraid of wether or not i would be disappointed with what the writers would do to our Beloved Captain Minister. I still saw his final and the final of the serie. [Spoiler (click to open)]I am in DENIAL as to his death ! Never happended and not gonna happen ever ! Eventhough he probably died as he would have wanted, protecting King,

I hate the fact that 'it's drama so someone has to die' and as it couldn't be one of the main boys or their lady loves, it had to be Treville. And pour little Claremont, as one of the cadets obviously wasn't going to make the end credits.
And it provided a convenient way of paving the way for the most witless ministerial appointment of all time.

TREVILLE LIVES!!!
It was a nasty gunshot wound but with Doctor Lemay's help he pulled through. Fact.
I thought the whole scene in the bar was really poorly scripted. It just came over as cheesy. Empty phrases is right.
I think they did it because it's 'expected' and it pave the way for the Annamis ending, which to me was just bloody ridiculous. The ending could have been so much better. But at the end of the day, my vision of how the show should have been ended was vastly different from that of the new showrunners.
*hugs* It was horrible for those who love Treville. Showrunners really need to learn to play like nice puppies with their toys.

No, that was Rochefort. Feron and Gaston would also have been crappy choices.
I'm sorry, it's always rough when your favourite character buys it. (It was an epic scene, though.)

Thanks. I hate losing a character I love, even though I should be used to it by now.
