I have recently taken to making my mashed potatoes with cream cheese rather than butter, and it is so fabulous.

Incidentally I am posting this from my new HTC desire which is also pretty damned nifty.

I've never tried cream cheese in smashed spuds. Sounds interesting. Also: Boo HTC (not really)
