Apparently I'm the only one who appreciates a good storm. I was outside for a good 45 minutes last night, in the thickest lightning storm I think I've ever seen. At one point there were maybe 100 lightning strikes in the space of 2 minutes. I saw a bolt of lightning as thick as a tree trunk. It was easy to tell how people might have thought the Gods were angry.
I felt the rain on my face, and stood on my hill and felt water flowing up to my calves. It wasn't pooling around me, I mean it was actually FLOWING downhill up to my calves. Roads were rivers, the sky was a flash bulb on a planetary scale. I saw three people drive past in 45 minutes, all of them stopped to say hi to me. Didn't know em, but there was a common thing that night, kind of like a universal desensitization of fear of the unknown. To be out last night you had to be crazy as fuck, basically.
Ah. So, what else, I ate lunch with Kate today and didn't see Kate, so everything worked out fine. Lan fun, and tomorrow I must run down to Mrs. L's and see if I can get sunday off.
Indeed! And we're going to need to find marijuana. Because Saratoga's dry, I think it's because Skidmore kids aren't here. I know damn well they grow in their dorm rooms.
Tomorow perhaps I should apply at places. On Exit 15. Word.
