Well, it's been almost a month since my last update. A lot of things to mention so I'll try to keep things from dragging on too long.
Living with Angela has been absolutely wonderful. I love going to bed beside her every night and waking up next to her every morning. We've just passed 3 months together and things are still fantastic.
Aside from that, we've been having lots of fun and doing some really cool things together. A few weeks ago, we went to the Ontario Science Centre. We saw some really cool and interesting exhibits and watched one of the movies on the OMNIMAX dome.
We saw "Superman Returns" at the Paramount on the big IMAX screen and there were some 3D sequences during the movie. It was really cool.
The weekend before last we went to the CNE. We had a great time. I found some really good deals on shorts so I bought 4 pairs, 3 of which didn't fit when I got home and tried them on. I also got a really nice belt that didn't have any holes in it when I went to put it on the next day. But I digress. Angela and I also got these really cool crabs in glass cases at one of the kiosks. I also bought Angela a really pretty ring with a small opal. After shopping, we met up with Angela's parents, aunt and friend and went to the food building for lunch. After lunch, Angela and I headed back to the midway and I played some games and won Angela a stuffed rabbit and a stuffed rat.
Things have been quiet since the CNE. We did meet up with Tim and Heather last Tuesday for half price fajitas at Sneaky Dee's. It was really good seeing them as we haven't seen them since the move at the end of June. Then last Friday, Angela and I had dinner with her dad and then met up with Tim and Heather and went to see Beerfest. Very funny movie. It was done by the same guys who did Super Troopers and Club Dread. Then, after watching a movie about beer, we all went out for a beer. The rest of the weekend was spent relaxing and taking care of Angela as she had a pretty bad fall on Friday and was in some pain.
This upcoming weekend should be really fun. On Saturday, we're planning to go to the Chinese Lantern Festival with Angela's parents (providing that Angela's toe isn't broken and she's able to walk on it). Sunday afternoon we will be going to see Spamalot, which I have been dying to see since I first heard about it. I hear it's fantastic.
That's pretty much it for the time being. Coming up in October we have a couple of other things scheduled. First off, Angela's mom got us free tickets to Alice Cooper at Fallsview Casino in Niagara Falls and a few days after that we will be seeing Iron Maiden at the Air Canada Centre.
Also, Angela has gotten herself a livejournal account. If anyone would like to befriend her, she can be found at
excitedennui.
Until next time.
