Sooooo, the other day I overdid it a little.

I really felt it that night. So yesterday I did a quick half mile run around the indoor track of doom and did an hour yoga class at the Y. It was nice to exercise around other adults who were actually speaking to each other as opposed to moving in their individual cones of silence like they do in the cardio and weight rooms. I think I will try to pick up a yoga class at least once a week, it pointed out for me some places where I was doing the poses incorrectly. It's hard to get it just right from a DVD. I still have a terrible downward dog, though. Tight Calves. Damn them.

Anyway, today: My eldest has provisionally agreed to the Y nursery again. I would like to burn some serious calories today so rather than my usual struggle with running I think I'll do 3 or 4 miles on the elliptical or arc trainer. Then it's probably squats and deadlifts. Possibly a little more experimenting with the assisted pullup machine but I should probably give my upper body another day to rest.

I am told the kiddee pool is mandatory this afternoon, must think of some active chore to do outside today or I will go insane.

Anyway, time to dress the children or none of this is going to happen.
