PDF Question

As a reader I've come to be an absolute believer in PDF versions of long stories (big bangs or otherwise.) Heck, if they aren't provided, I make them. Also, as a reader, I find I prefer Mediafire for ease of download ( Read more... )

Another option is to get an AO3 account and post the longer stuff there, then the reader can download pdf, ebook or whatever. I love that they have that option.

My problem with AO3 is that it's not immediately obvious how to do it. Didn't even realize the option existed until you mentioned it and I DO have an account. Have had it for years.

That's my problem with several of the download service options -- they aren't immediately obvious in how to use them. Often by design as they are pretty much flat out trying to get you to download something else by mistake.

AO3 is actually pretty simple. When you are on the story all you have to do is click on the download in whichever format you want. I've downloaded a few fics this way, including a couple of my own.

For me the AO3 is a great mistery, I try to figured it out a couple of times, because ppl more often use it, but I can't... Am I that stupid?
