So here's how it lies at the moment...

I just had my haircut, first time at a new place, they are quite good, possibly will go back (in 12 weeks...). I can mess it up and it looks fine.

My short to mid-term memory is atrocious... I will make a conscious effort to improve it over the next term, if I can find the time...
It has literally been 10 minutes since I was in the car with about 6 ideas for a post, and now I have 2... Really just one and a half, since this one went tits up...

Recently I got past the first damn stage of the boss of Prime 2: Echoes. That god damn Emperor is a hard nut to crack, but given like an extra 2 hours I will go and find more ammo so it'll be fine... SO tough, like, as hard as a NES game I swear.

I am behind on my maths already and it's only -1th week... If I work really hard in my last 2 free evenings I can get it done, and by god do I need to get it done... Anyone know how to solve a quadratic in z^3 with complex roots? For z? In polars? I can probably work it out better with a drawing lolol.

I am facing 3 more days at work, with evenings in which to pack, do this work, enjoy myself and remain not a hermit. Today was a success in one aspect... I went to the pub with my parents and their friends.
So, for Xmas hols and future reference, I suggest we find a better pub than the Stag, which in all honesty is one of the worst pubs I've ever been to. It is overpriced, the bar staff are terrible, the clientele aren't great, and the only redeeming feature (the old barman looks like Bilbo Baggins) isn't a redeeming feature.
I would suggest maybe starting at the 'Land of Liberty, Peace and Plenty' just down the road from the Stag, which sells a wide selection of ales, stouts, ciders and lagers, along with the basic collection of spirits and mixers. There are also many better pubs to be found a short drive from our homes, and I put it to my local friends that we should dedicate a week to checking them out, perhaps one or two per evening.

I would like to wish anyone at university a great term, anyone going back soon a safe trip in addition to a great term, and anyone who is seeking (or has found) long term employment, the best of luck, and a fun time!
I myself am heading back 'up north' to Oxford on Sunday, and will be loving it, and bumping it (a joke none will get, no doubt).

So, with this totally incomplete post, I grant you all an un-named nor well-explained power up, and tell you get hunting the mini-bosses.
