Google Reader

The phrase "all items" is used in google reader in two different ways. This is confusing because of their close proximity on the screen.

The first use is part of the navigation bar - it indicates that items from all feeds should be displayed. This may mean either all new items from all feeds or all items from all feeds, depending on the user's previous selection.

The second use is as a toggle within a view between displaying only new items or displaying old and new items.

It should be noted that I use reader in 'list view'.

My suggestion is that in the former case they use the words 'all feeds' and in the latter case they use the words 'old and new items'.
