Happy 18th birthday, Nee-san~! I hope your day today was better than mine, 'cause today was awesome and yours should be awesome-er, 'cause your birthday landed on Friday the 13th!
Another great thing about today: Last day of first quarter exams~! While I was a bit put down at the difficulty I had on answering the exam on the last few subjects, I soon forgot about it because me and my friends were going shopping :D It was pretty hilarious, really. After all five of us got into Yssa's car, two at the very back and three in the middle seats while Yssa's parents sat at the front, they told us to change in the car while they drove us to the mall. It was fine since the windows were heavily tinted.
Changing in a very cramped space, since I was one of the two seated at the very back, isn't so difficult, surprisingly. Though that might've been because I was changing into short capri pants while my friends all wore jeans. It was pretty amusing. When we got to the mall, we all tried on dresses. A lot of dresses had polka dots. Though the only one who actually needed a dress was Yssa, all of us had fun trying them out :)) Except for Ri, who hadn't tried on anything. We even met up with Belle, at the time when we found the perfect dress!
And then we looked for shoes to match it. The shoes didn't take all that long to find, though they aren't the best to walk in.. Oh well! We finished shopping for her outfit in two hours, so we ate at Bubble Tea~ I drank Royal Milk Tea, though I'm not at all fond of tea. I mean, it's an acquired taste after all.
After eating, we went to look for my sister's gift~ Belle left at this point, I forgot why. Ri supposedly left before Belle, but then she came back :)) We got my sister a book, and it was really awesome because it was 50% off! It was hardbound too~ Anyway, yeah, me being the nice sister I am (as if) I felt like I should get her a gift that was just from me, since it was her special day and all. Sooo... I actually ran out of ideas on what to get her and just settled for getting her a scrapbook that she could fill up if she wanted to. I was thinking of filling it up myself, but her debut's tomorrow so obviously I had no time to do that anymore.
We dropped of Ri at the pet store for her parents to pick her up, but Yssa's parents and Ri's parents started talking so we looked at the pet store while we waited for them. It was so fun! At first we went to look at the dogs, but then they were all so sad in their little cages so we stared at the hamsters instead > <; The hamsters were so adorable~ We even named one of them 'Buddha' because one of them looked like him xD As in, the hamster looked like she was praying and the position she was in was sort of like how Buddha statues usually look like. Yes, it's a girl. But it looked like Buddha too! Anyways, yeah, we had a lot of fun staring at a bunch of hamsters in a cage.
We went home a little after that, but some quotable quotes and just plain dorky jokes (some of which we just got from others) :

Yssa: "And I don't think she has an obsession with anything Chinese, or drugs, for that matter."

"At least no one's made a joke about oxygen and magnesium yet."
