Today was the last day of summer 2006 at KMT.
Brutal.
I love that place, and those kids... and this has been the best BGC Staff that i've ever worked with. I felt really capable this summer... and I didn't always have someone breathing down my neck... and the summer literally FLEW by. I can't believe it!
I'm heading to alberta tomorrow morning, then when i get back I'll be in school.
Wow. School. Never thought I'd end up there again.
Last summer was pretty great too. Back at FFL. They're going through a major renovation... Azfir was telling me about it. That's pretty rad, I guess. they're not serving cofffee anymore, and yeah, no newspaper and all that stuff. They're really making it a wellness center, as opposed to a place where people can get the same atmosphere at a local starbucks. On that note: within 3 KMs of FFL, there are 31 starbucks!! that's pathetic! haha. But...they've got good stuff, so i won't diss it too much.
I was talking with some scientists yesterday at science world, and I found out that Papercups are WORSE than styrofoam!! It's crazy actually. I thought styrofoam was the worst stuff in the world, but turns out its not... it's still bad, but not as bad as i thought.
