Happiness is a Warm Blanket
Finally, I begin to see the fruits of my labor. I went over to her house after work to watch The Grudge and told her about my dog getting put to sleep. She insisted on coming over to spend the night and keep me company. I, of course, didn't argue with her. We got to my house and laided down together to get some sleep, but neither of us actually slept. We spent the whole night cuddling, flirting, and talking. My parents generally frown on that sort of thing, so we had to keep it secret and quiet.
The time rolled around for Kuma to head to the vets, and she held me as I cried for my dog. Then she kissed me so sweetly I thought I might cry again but with joy rather than sorrow. We both took a shower, seperate because my folks were home again. (Honestly, my mom is no fool, she's knows what's up. At least she's cool about it.)
We headed out to my school, where as we're driving around looking for parking she tells me that despite the fiance she is falling for me. I am now officially on cloud nine! Fortune truely does favor the bold and persistance really is rewarded. Now just a little while longer before she breaks up with him and comes to me.
