(no subject)
Hello internets long time no talk, I have been distracted by all this infectious disease data from Madagascar. Aka real life has eaten my life.
But I have emerged because it's Nationals AND Europeans this week besides which Panic! have released their new single on youtube and some very silly pictures of them in tweed suits and feathered hats on facebook. I might come back and put those in while I'm not writing an entry during a 10 minute break in class. Edit: Have in fact done so
and...they have decided to now look like this.
Anyways, I haven't seen any of it yet (because it was happening during class) but here are my knee jerk reactions to the scores that have been posted from
PECHALAT and BOURZAT in first as expected
2 Ekaterina BOBROVA / Dmitri SOLOVIEV don't care that much
I'm glad the Kerr's are in 3rd, I want to see their skate and I hope they can beat the Russians in the free!
I'm impressed that Elena and Nikita are in 4th, that score is a big improvement over their season so I'm excited to see that performance, they're probably my favorite of the three Russian teams at Euros too so I'm very happy for them
Federica and Massimo are down in 9th, major ouch. I know they're injured but it's seeming more and more like they should have retired this season. They got absolutely hammered in the technical marks, I'm sure they were restricted by her back.
and the youngest Reed is in 16th I'm actually interested to see that team as well now that they've been skating together for a little bit longer than they had last year. They certainly aren't doing badly for themselves
