Happy Holidays everybody

It's not rape! It was just a bunch of male opportunists taking advantage of a 16 year old girl drunkenly passed out on a picnic table. She can't remember anything, so we'll have to just assume she consented to all those guys over those 2 hours before somebody called to police, after all the witnesses all say she did! (Note almost every witness is also being charged) And the fact that she was beaten doesn't mean anything, because the beating didn't have anything to do with overcoming her will it was just 'gratuitous violence' everybody knows that means it isn't rape.
There is even more but my rage is fairly incandescent at this point. Seriously? Seriously? Let's not even go into the whole too drunk to consent means no consent thing, fact of the matter is most of these men were old enough they could all have been charged with statutory rape if the circumstances were different. But because the girl "willingly drunk herself into unconsciousness" it would appear that she was culpable for everything that happened afterwards as well.

That was the newspapers take on the situation, criminally 6 people were being charged, 3 of whom there was no DNA evidence from (DNA evidence from 13 different sources was recovered from the girl's body). The youngest defendant isn't being charged because there was abuse of his Miranda rights when he was being arrested. However, he stole the girls cell phone, and actually earlier that night he stole alcohol and got her drunk.
I know how difficult it is for the police to find and catch people based on DNA evidence alone but I find it appalling that there are 10 men out there not being charged with anything for this.
Oh and one guy isn't being charged with rape at all, just penetration of an intoxicated person, because he didn't know that it wasn't okay? Even though he was surrounded by about 20 people who were stealing things off of her unconscious body, pissing on her, and trying to rape her with skateboards? If he wasn't over 18 what he did wouldn't have even been criminal the way the courts are prosecuting him.

other than trying to avoid the news for reasons like the above I have been up to absolutely nothing, sleeping and eating and playing with dog that's about it. Mom's freaking out about my anemia which...I've never not been anemic, it's a constant thing we know this we've known this since I was a child it's a huge part of why I take pre-natal vitamins, she's freaking out about it a lot because I'm super tired and I've got dark circles under my eyes, but sometimes a spade is just a spade, I'm super tired because I've been working hard ditto for the circles with an extra helping of I just lost a bunch of weight.

Things that are making me happy right now -Jeffrey Buttle and Adam Rippon tweeting at each other about Elf,
Patrick Stump- he's a robot, a time traveling magical musical robot I swear to God. One who's just released new photos of his hot robot self over on his website
