Dallas Trip Part 1 of 2 - Dealy Plaza
Happy Sunday Everyone!!!
Brian has been home for 3 weeks and goes back to work tomorrow. We've had a lot of time to talk and get everything out in the air. So...needless to say I love him more than ever before and we have worked out the majority of our difference.
The only thing we did while he was on vacation is we went to Dallas, TX, earlier in the month. We hit Dealy Plaza and Southfork Ranch. Here are a few pictures of Dealy Plaza Brian took.......
November 22, 1963...this is where it all started
The next 3 shots are views of the 6th floor, corner window, of the Texas Book Depository.
You can see a box in the window. This is where Lee Harvey Oswald is alleged to have fired
the 3 shots that hit President Kennedy. The building has 7 floors.
"X" marks the spot of the fatal shot in the middle lane!!!
The area just to the right of the grassy knoll.
The grassy knoll area is where you see the wood fence.
The underpass which took the motorcade to Parkland Hospital.
The building is now called the Dallas County Administration Building.
This is a view of the area from the 16th floor of the Hyatt hotel about 3/4 mile away.
