The Move Is On - It's Official
Well the move to Texas is official. The actual local has yet to be decided. We're looking at 3 locations....
1. Odessa/Midland, TX (that's my favorite)
2. Marshall, TX
3. Orange/Beaumont, TX
Once again, the move will be associated where Brian's employer has an office. He just got a brand new truck and new trailer which was issued to the Baton Rouge office, and he is doing what he can not to loose his new truck.
Yesterday I took Mom and my sister out for lunch. I broke the news to Mom. I've already discussed the issue with my sister and she knew all about it...but pretended she didn't have any idea. Mom was not very receptive to the idea but understands. She knows that I am not happy living in Baton Rouge.
Last night I started some minor packing...stuff that I simply don't need for now. I stopped by U-Haul during the day and picked up some boxes. Going to turn the spare bedroom into the storage area for when I have boxes packed...all ready to go. I should have my place ready to put up on the market the day after Labor Day. In the mean time...all I know is that I need to get a real estate agent. That should tell you how much I know about the selling process.
I'm nervous about the whole moving thing...but know I will be happy when it's all said and done.
