Remy Zero- just discovered them, awesome. They sing the theme song to Smallville.
Snow Patrol--the absolute best.

Fat Kid Rules the World
Teen Idol (havent read it yet, but I know it will be great)
Movies:
Garden State - one of those few movies that make you look at your life differntly and actually change you.
