I was reading the paper today and i got so sad! this poor ladys dog of 11 years was euthanized by accident. the dog was out front when the dog catcher passed by and they picked it up. the owners dad saw and his wife followed the catcher and the catcher said that since the dog had no tags that it had to be taken in. the dad called the owner and told her. she went to go pick up her dog when they told her she couldnt, so she went the next day and after an hour or so of waiting, they told her that her dog was accidently euthanized. there was supossed to be another poodle put to sleep that day and they put hers to sleep by mistake. thats so horrible! they were like were sorry heres ur $75 back and she didnt want it and she left to go grieve for her pet. they went to go and give her a $75 check i think at her house later. i think shes going to sue because they are not supossed to put dogs asleep without tags for at least 3 days and pets with tags get 6. Id so sue if i were her! this whole thing got me really sad :(
