Ahead of our two finals coming up this month...

I'm going to be in Berlin for the Pokal final and in Munich for the CL final - will anyone else also be, and if so, be interested in meeting up? I got rejected for pokal tickets, so it'd be nice to watch that in a Bayern-friendly space! (Also, is anyone else still in the lottery for CL tickets? Bayern took a month longer to reject me for Pokal ( Read more... )

The Bayern draw will be tomorrow! For the CL-tickets, I mean. I'm in - so we'll see how it goes. They only give theirs to members, though. :)

On a side note - it totally pisses me off that Chelsea and Bayern only get 17 500, 7000 went into free sale - and ALL the rest goes to sponsors!

Ahhhh, thanks for letting me know! Good luck to you, too! I'm so scared about tomorrow now!!!

And I completely agree! It's so unfair to the fans. I really wish I had entered the UEFA lottery right now, tbh, but I missed that by *one* day. smh at myself :(

It somehow didn't even register in my brain that the UEFA already offered tickets. Gah!
Oh well - now we can hope.

Also - the main public viewing event at the Olympic stadium (65 000) is already sold out. :(

BUT - on the plus side - there are a lot of great Biergaerten and other spots where one can watch!

And yeah, I heard that about the Olympiastadion event, too. S: That was fast! But I'm sure there will be lots of other spots to watch, yes. I'm so excited!!! :D

I'm a bit jealous of you. My exams are in June, so I'll watch the games in between study sessions.
Good luck with the lottery!

Thank you! :D

Thanks! If I got tickets I would go too. But I'm not a member. :)
I'm really going to miss your match posts though.

I live in Munich, but I'm still debating between going to a pub to watch or just staying at home, inviting friends and watching on my own tv. The atmosphere would certainly be better in a pub, especially when (not if!) it's time to celebrate, but it's going to be so full - I'd probably have to get there two hours in advance to get a spot.
We'll see, we'll see~

Well, since I don't have the option of staying at home...XD

I definitely want to experience the ~atmosphere! It's one of the main reasons I'm going, tbh!

I'll be in Munich for the Pokal, haven't decided whether I'll stay in and watch or go out somewhere. And I'm debating making the trip for the CL, I feel like it'll be a once in a lifetime experience to just be in the city when we win. I just need to find someone willing to go with me.

I would definitely go to the friendly if I were you, sounds like a ton of fun and a return for Mark (hopefully, for my own happiness). :')

It seems unbelievable that you would be in Munich for the Pokal but not for the CL final! I'm going for the CL final precisely because it will be a once in a lifetime experience! Any chance you can change the duration of your stay in Munich?

Yes, I was totally thinking of MvB, haha! I actually forgot about the friendly when I was booking my flight, so I booked a flight for the 22nd...-____- But I think I'll book a flight for the 23rd instead if I don't get chosen in the lottery S:

I have to go to Salzburg on the 15th-ish (where I'll be living for the whole summer), so I don't think it would be much of an issue to go back to Munich for a Saturday. I'll try my best, but the last thing I want to do is take a train on my own, tbh, if no one is willing to go with me I might seriously consider a solo trip. :/ We'll see.

I WISH i could go to the friendly, so I'm jealous if you're able to. My problem is that I'm going to have class most of that day so I doubt I'd be able to get to Munich in time (or even get a ticket, tbh). :/

I think a solo train trip would be totally worth being in Munich on the day of the CL final!

There are still loads of tickets free for the friendly! So if you can get to Munich by 2000, then you why not go? (Though idk how many tickets there will be left closer to the day of the friendly O:)
