A lot has transpired in the last few weeks since I posted.
I did successfully get through the semester and officially have one class left before I graduate. It's Sacred Geometry, so the anthropologist in me is all in a kerfuffle with anticipation.
We took the store to the MD Faerie Festival to vend, and had a truly great time (
photos). It was really positive to get back out on the festival circuit after many years of being stuck on this peninsula - most of the festivals come at the same time as tourist season, but finally I have managed to change the rhythm of my life enough so I can get away in the summers now.
In addition, as of Friday I am a great aunt (again) to a new tiny human. Yay for marrying into a big family.
I recently set up my hammock in my beautiful, tree-studded front yard and actually have had time to lie in it and contemplate Life, the Universe, and Everything.
I planted tiny seedlings in my vegetable garden and they are still alive. Yay for remembering to water the garden ;) Looks like we'll have tomatoes, squash, watermelons and cantaloupes this year.
Checking things off the list one by one.
