Nope, completely independent.

Come on down and give it a shot!

Davio, whose played larps so long, that all we could bid was rock, as paper and scissors weren't invented yet.

so are you attached to any organization at all?
cause I know the CAM as games in the bay area.

and are you using F.L.A.G.S ( fremont live action gaming system)??
I know alot of "troupe" style games in the bay area used this for a long time...weirdly new CAM for requiem is very very similair.

Nope, we're not attached at all.

And, no, we're using base rules (for now), until we get a good grasp of the game.

We used to be an old school WoD game, but waning interest and the like, we've decided to try something new. Besides, the oWoD books are hard for new gamers to get ahold of (being out of print and all that), so we're hoping to start recruiting new players and all that.

NO! I've been desperately wanting to check out a LARP, and I love Requiem, and you're doing this the one week I'm out of state! Not fair!

Well, the game plan is to run every week, so come on by. You can also e-mail staff at staff@scmasquerade.com with questions.

Mailed! How did the character creation go? Lots of folks?

We had around 2 dozen. Which, for a new game starting up, isn't that bad. We created our characters, and the ST, based on the backgrounds we discussed, helped set up connections between characters a little.

Next game will probably have some time set aside at the beginning for character creation (they usually have one staff members set aside for that at most sessions in prior campains).

I'm really excited about my PC, and look forward to chopping at the bits with him a little. He's a departure from most of the PC's I normally play.

Is that a Jedi in a parking lot?

Um, yep. It's the night I out geeked 50 geeks.

My Nosferatu was a big ol' nerd, who went to a scifi convention dressed as a Jedi. I thought it would be amusing to actually show up in costume.

It was a fun evening...
