[FMA Big Bang art post] The Winding Roads of Truth
Just real quick, I still plan to post the second half of my Big Bang, most likely Chapters 6 and 7 first and then Chapters 8 and Epilogue. My beta told me she should get them done fairly soon now. Hopefully within this month, so watch out for that! In the meantime, some Big Bang art!
I ended up doing last minute pinch-hit graphic art for catw00man and zippitgood's story, The Winding Roads of Truth. It's a very fun adventure story so definitely check it out!
First one is the usual banner covers I did for a few other Big Bangs last year and this year. All of the images I got from screencaps of the Brotherhood anime. Basic gist of the story:
Summary: After an assassination attempt on Mustang hits close to home, it's decided they need to see the western battlefront for themselves. As they go their seperate ways, covertly and with pomp and circumstance, they struggle with what the truths they discover along the way.
I particularly want to show real quick the shots I got from Falman and Ed. Falman I changed his hair color as in the story he dyed it black to pretend to be Mustang. Pretty much changed the brightness and contrast of Falman's hair and some smudging. As for Ed, I was lucky to find a screenshot of him looking older and all I did was made the stock image brighter. LOL yeahhhh Roy's hair I smudged it up a bit too much as the screenshot I have of him had his forehead cut off. OH WELL.
Ed rubs at his eyes and looks across the car to see Mustang silhouetted against the far window and his breath catches in his throat. There’s so damn much he wants to tell him, so damn much he needs to say, but as he takes a breath to speak it suddenly slams home that it’s not Mustang. It’s Falman and as he turns his head to look at him with eyes and a face that are all wrong Ed grits his teeth and slams the door shut much harder than necessary. They need to get to the West. The sooner, the fucking better.
From ending of Chapter Three. Once again, Falman's hair color changed. Image I got from this screenshot (oh hi there Greedling! XD). In the story Ed and Roy had to be split up and Ed kept mistaking Falman for Mustang. This took a bit longer as when I used the wizard tool the edges seemed glitchy, bleh.
