[FMA Big Bang Art Post] Kristensk's "Nameless"

All right, another FMA Big Bang art post here! This time for kristensk 's Nameless . It's a work in progress story, but man I have to say this is one of the best AU fics I have ever read, so I highly recommend it. THIS should have been the first anime. Teaser:

Pairing/Characters: Edward Elric, Roy Mustang, Roy's Crew, Maes Hughes and a little of everyone else. No real pairings, but hints of Royai will appear.
Warnings: some violence of the Scar and Kimblee sort
Summary: It’s a difficult thing, putting yourself back together again. Piece by piece. Memory by memory. It was like alchemy. The slowest transmutation he had ever performed.
Again, banners I made from Photoshop Elements 2.0. Okay, let's do this!
Like Teamwork, I did a book like cover for Nameless. I actually made two versions of it.
This is the one kristensk posted. I tried to have Ed's hair grayed because in the story he's much older, but Photoshop kept glitching on me, so I wasn't able to do that. Instead, kristensk actually gave me an image she did that she thinks resembles older Ed, which I thought is awesome. However, I don't like the way it look in the banner because I can't seem to blend kirsensk's older Ed nicely in it. Also, the art style of Roy and Ed looks vastly different (I tend to like to have the renders/stocks be of similar style when I do banners).
Different version. Again, wanted to try gray haired Ed, but Photoshop wasn't being nice to me. Original stock sources here and here. Ignore Riza being upside down.
LOL, had so much fun doing this piece. It's from the fourth chapter where Roy goes meet a journalist and finds out about Ed's past. Image from Episode 21 of Brotherhood anime.
This piece is from Chapter 13, where Ed visits the Hughes place and Gracia Hughes reminds him of his mother. I actually like the way this banner turned out. The pics I screencaped from the third episode of the first anime (not Brotherhood).
Next piece is from Chapter 14, a flashback when Ed first meets Sloth (first anime). Original stock sources here and here.
My last pieces of art are extra icons I made based off from the banners.
