This probably won't end well

Anyone in my F-list who visits the fanfic section at PokeCommunity thinks Chamomile13 is getting a bit out of hand at the Plot Bunny Thread? Page 5 is where he gets irritated when azurne responded and Page 6 is where he gets even more annoyed. I don't know, but it seems he isn't listening to the people telling him that what's he trying to do with his ( Read more... )

Dear fucking christ.

He's just a particularly bad plagiarist. What an idiot.

More or less, yeah. D: There's a difference between stealing ideas and getting inspired by them and making them your own.

I'm trying to calm him down. I don't think it's working. >.>

I kept backspacing/editing my responses 'cause I didn't know how to respond. =/

At first I was under the impression that he was just using this as a tool to get back into writing since he wasn't going to put a whole lot of effort into it... but then he says he's putting effort into it and it's really personal to him... Argh I'm just confused.

It's also really mind-boggling that he has this idea that all you need for a good story is good character with a so-so plot. Oh, and that Pokémon didn't have a lot of plot lol. I guess Team Rocket were just a bunch of guys hanging out with us on our downtime.

Don't worry, I 'm confused also on what he wants with his fic. @_@

Haha, yeah I was pretty steamed when he made those comments. Unless you're doing a very short story, plot and characters have to go together.

I kind of want to reply because that's exactly the kind of thing I was addressing in my thesis (ie, the concept of originality and creativity in fantasy writing in comparison to myth) and he ... might ... take my opinion more seriously since I have 'credentials', but on the other hand people like him really piss me off and I don't want to risk a brain aneurysm. =| Gdit, decisions, decisions ...

I would say not risk the brain aneurysm. :P He just doesn't get it, pretty much.

Yeeeahhh and people like that are frustrating brick walls. XD

In the end I probably won't, but only because I'm lazy, lol.

lol fandom

What is it with PC and hot-headed male posters? First Yamato-san, then Redstar, and now this member. It's like there's a giant sign on PC saying that we're looking for an arrogant douche of a member to keep the drama alive.

And it's like you can't even be nice to them because they take everything as an insult.

At least I know I'm not the only one confused by his posts.

Man, you're right on the mark concerning PC and hot-headed male posters. I'm not sure about that either. D:

LOL, Yamato-san and Redstar are entertaining for a while. Glad though they're gone for now.

Yeah, Chamomile13's posts I was like "wut", and wonder if I should still respond to him or not. XD
