I just gotta ask
What makes it jewish rye? Kosher rye I could understand. Was it circumcized? Did it have a briss or a bar mitzvah? If I go to heaven will this thing be up there waiting for me with it's seedy goodness? How does a loaf of bread get religion? It's not even like christianity where they'll let anybody in, you have to work to be jewish.
While I'm at it, I wonder if I could get a priest to baptise a few loaves and sell catholic white bread. Since it doesn't really have any earthly desires to shed, do you think I could get whole wheat to qualify as enlightened?
