For one, get the previous teacher's possessions out, and secondly make it look less like a Bazaar, Miss-?

Oh, um... Ainsworth! Cassie.

[inbklots]

What's wrong with the room looking like a bazaar? I think it's lovely as it is.

A pleasure, Miss Ainsworth.

I feel it distracts from the subject matter at hand leading to very stereotypical feelings about Divination. There is more to the subject then looking into a crystal ball or seeing the winning lotto numbers in a watering bowl.

I don't think it distracts at all! It gives it character!

This is a class room, not something you read about.

Right. Of course, Professor Curmudgeon Nein.

Oh wow, sorry about that. My hand spasmed.

Of course.

Just so you don't forget again, you must write all your professors names down 20 times each.

Oh wow, Professor. Good one. That was... really funny.

It is either that, points taken, detention, or getting to write down which rule you broke 20 times per professor.

Your choice, Miss Ainsworth.

...Of course. I'll get to it right away, Professor.

Thank you very much.

I will respect you as a student if you respect me as a Professor. Your hand 'slipping' wasn't respecting me as such. And this is also our first meeting.

I could wave the punishment if you like, and we can restart on the proper foot.

I'd really appreciate that. Thank you Professor.

Very good, thank you.

Do you happen to keep your school notes? Its seems your previous Professor didn't leave any clear indicator of where everyone was at in their studies.

Oh wow! Totally! I took notes on everything. You can borrow them if you need them to help with your lessons.
