maaannnn, I need to redecorate.
So the Hubs enquires if I've been updating this LJ. Which caused me to roll my eyes, since it is on semi-hiatus ( read: I'm lazy). But boredom and ego prodded me to mooch over and read the older entries.
I've been playing over at Facebook, and enjoying the economical manner in which everyone communicates. Everything works via a poke, a hug, a free gift, a cause. Noticed how there's no need to talk in full sentences, unless its via private messaging. And even then, its acronym galore. I think vowels are going to be phased on in the next decade. Facebook is fun. Hubs just flung a sheep at me.
Busy with a new film, dealing with the same old problems. Its a new team, since EVERYONE is currently younger than me. And less experienced. So I kinda have to play at being the den-mother.
On a rare, and more serious note, I've been making the steps to lead a more simple life. As a person who main-lines on conspicuious consumption, the past months of being out of gainful employment, has led me to scale down, well, everything. Its oddly liberating, and I do think it leaves me feeling less emotionally weighed down. I used to love to build a nest of stationery and cups and knick knacks whenever I set up shop in any production office. But this time, i deliberately kept it minimal. just my pencil case and some pictures of dylan. It seems to be working. :D
Anyway, told you I don't do Serious and Insightful well, so lets just seque back into frivolity and fluffiness - I am off to work, and will stop by to get those delish, sinful Subway double Choc giant cookies.
