Arthur's cramming and freak out were in character and very amusing. Who wouldn't panic tin the face of this impossible pregnancy and Eames' cucumber cool reaction to it? Arthur's freaking out enough for them both. IAt least he was able to be calm and there for Eames during the labor and birth. A pool full of encouraging walruses must have been intimidating.

The idea of being a parent to a fifty pound walrus is hilarious and I'm sure Arthur and Eames will do a spectacular job with their new little selkie.

When I saw the art on ao3 I hoped you'd write a sequel and now I am really happy you did it. The art is amazing and your fic as well. This is not like most mpreg fics, what I really love in this is that Eames is very calm and gives Arthur support and encouragement and gets him ready, even if he is the pregnant one here. And now, should he teach Arthur how to make formula feed for the walrus selkie baby? :)

Yes, I figured surprise fatherhood would be one of the few things that would indeed fluster Arthur--it was definitely something he was not expecting and in no way prepared for. A rare statement for him.

I'm glad you liked the story even though it wasn't exactly what you envisioned. I've never been particularly into mpreg, but it was interesting to ponder how Arthur would feel when suddenly thrust into the role of baby-daddy: shock, fear, apprehension. Things most fathers can probably relate to on some level.
