Arthur stands flat-footed and broad-shouldered in an ill-fitting satin-y negligee that manages to be too small in all the wrong places and too big everywhere else. The blank expression on Arthur's face completes a tableau which, despite Eames' best efforts and fantasies, is completely devoid of any eroticism whatsoever.
Possibly the best man-in-lingerie paragraph I have ever read, LOL!! How Eames kept a straight face is beyond me :D He very nearly didn't *g*

I loved Signora Pezzella and her cooking!

I just have to ask: was the chicken-man story Frederico tells inspired by Fortysomething?

I really like this story. I found it yesterday and have been reading pretty much non stop. I love all the little secrets that are slowly starting to come out - though i have to admit i was a bit confused at first about all the different women in Eames life - and I love the dynamic between Arthur and Eames. And - i think someone already mentioned that in a comment to an earlier chapter but i just have to congratulate on it again - i absolutly love how the sex mirrors their relationship. How it was okay, but nothing special when they were just colleagues that fucked when it was convenient, how it is completly aweful when they are not on the same page and how it is really awesome when they are able to just focus on each other...

So, anyway, great story. I'll now be off to the next part.

I've never seen Fortysomething, so am kind of amazed there's anything at all like the chicken-man story I made up!

I'm glad you're enjoying the story and the secrets so far :) And yes, the sex moves from impersonal and bland to terrible to a slow build to excellent as they come to care about each other, despite themselves. Hope you enjoy the rest!
