Well that was a small taste of hell. And people say girls are confusing. I beg to differ. I'm just glad that things are back to how they used to be, only better this time. I'm not one for all this drama but you know what they say, "you don't know what you got 'til it's gone". I was seriously starting to think of leaving Winnipeg, maybe go West and stay in some hostels, I kinda still want to. It would be scary but fun at the same time. It made me feel as though I was materialistic and thought what items were really important to me and what I could give up. If I had 10 minutes to pack anything of value, I'd take:
-my Bass
-my skateboard
-a bag of clothes
-photo album
-camera
-journals

Everything else is insignificant.

My boss started this stupid shift: 2pm-10pm. But after much fussing, bitching and throwing things around he scrapped it (...well for me anyway). He's being transferred soon anyway. That's what happens when you're a slacker. They boot you.

I went postering with Brad and we did it in a record time: 20 minutes to cover majority of Osborne. We play with the Afterbeat and Raiden on thursday at the Albert (where else?), and then we play a Battle of the Bands at Doubles, just for a change of scenery and for shits and giggles. I'm curious as to what peoples reaction will be. It's either one of 2 extremes: They absolutely hate us and we get banned from yet another venue...OR...they actually like us and maybe we could sell a few CD's or gain some more *fans*. Either one I'm okay with. Let's just hope Chris or Shane doesn't get us kicked out before we play. You can't take country boys anywhere.
