..i can feel it coming in the air tonight..
im home. canada's cold. i saw snow. falling. not on cedar. on cement. on grass. on trees. on roof tops. it was beautiful. i had timbits til my heart and my stomach were content. sour creme timbits. mm. i had toffee coffee. which was even better than french vanilla. or caramel machiatto. i should start a tim hortons franchise in new orleans.
i had such a nice time. as much as i fuss about the cold..i love it. absolutely love it. niagara was just gorgeous. take-your-breath-away gorgeous. we had lots of fun there. and i -proud smile- was undefeated in Xmen vs. Capcom or whatever-the-fuck. like..6-0..or 7-0....the computer then picked dalsim (or however you spell it) and he kicked my ass. sorta. we danced. we cooked like lobsters in the hot tub. we did mazes and haunted houses and ski ball and piercings...haha. jay and i had a great walk monday in the town..-s- saw a movie and found this kick ass record store with vinyl and posters..and holy wow...we spent 2 hours in there. it was tops. it was great to meet him and trace...so so great.
its sort of ironic, though. one of the things i was running away from...or trying to separate myself from..at least a little...was the one thing i wanted when i was watching the city lights as i flew over new orleans....i wanted that warmth. that warmth..and my beautiful city lights....welcoming me home.
im sleepy. i had an 8am appointment at the health unit...i had cereal..and i gave my dad his cubans...which i snuck in with ease...-grins- hes kitten as a cat....and im going to bed.
