The decision is made
R called this afternoon, crying so hard he couldn't speak. It was relief. All weekend he and D had read up on his treatment options. This afternoon he called his doctor and told him about his reservations given his other medical problems. The doctor agreed with him, and so no hormone treatment. At least it was a clear decision.
I think he will go through a rough patch now, anger and grief. Hopefully then he can go on having fun with his life. The prognosis is very unclear, he could have several *years* I really hope so.
