Lost in Translation
I've been WTF'ing about this for days over IM with people, but I wanted to post about it if only to make the 'wtf kubo' tag which I will undoubtedly be using frequently.
I haven't actually read the chapter myself, but apparently in the last fight...Aizen 'hatched' and became some kind of weird creepy bug-thing? He has a mullet now. Long hair evidently makes people stronger in this manga.
And he told Ichigo that he would 'eat' him later.
This is not a translation error.
