I was all set to go to work today.  Then I tried to shower.  I kept having to bend over and lower my head so I didn't pass out.  I had to take a bigger break after I got out.  I changed into some pj's still thinking I could do it.  Then I called my mom and she yelled at me.  She told me I was not going to work, I was not doing anything this weekend ( Read more... )

Be well soon, love anansay September 15 2006, 13:13:52 UTC
One time, when my children were really young and needed me, I was sick as a dog. I remember being on the couch and going from being really hot and ache, to suddenly really cold and shivering. I was on the phone with my friend and I remember panicking because my body couldn't decide what temperature to be. She brought me over some food (she lived 45 mins drive away). One of the things she brought me was this rice-thing: overcooked rice (so it was really mushy) mixed with tamari sauce, a bit of garlic, nutritional yeast. It was this being mush stuff in a 4-cup mason jar. It didn't taste GREAT, but it was edible and she told me it would feed my body and help to get my strength back up.

Also, when you're sick, the B.R.A.T. diet is supposed to be very good too.
B - Bananas
R - Rice
A - Applesauce (unsweetened)
T - Toast (dry)

I really hope you're feeling better soon; sounds like you've caught quite the bug there.

Remember: drink as much water as you can, distilled if possible. Distilled water has no minerals in it so it can suck up the bad minerals and toxins from your body. It really is an internal cleanser.

And warm BATHS, not showers. Warm baths with a glass of cold water by you to rehydrate you.

There is more that I can suggest, but it's getting quite odd sounding. Things like wrapping yourself up in COLD wet (white) cotton sheets, with dry blankets on top of that and sleeping like that for the night. Apparently, when you wake up, the white cotton sheets will be an awful grey colour (the toxins) and they'll smell. But you'll feel much better. Than you take a bath to rinse off the dirty sweat. *shrug* Stuff like that.

WATER!!!!!

Oh thank you! I just called my mom and added bananas to my list as she was walking out the door! I was already thinking about rice, which I have along with the toast and unsweetened applesauce.

You know, I stopped at KFC Sunday night on my way home from Paul's. It was that night when my tummy started to go nuts. I have thought all week that it's been something from there. My mom was worried that I had e. coli, and I really wouldn't be surprised if I did.

I would definitely not be surprised. The last two times my family had KFC, my youngest got sick. We're talking puking here. And that was over seven years ago. I haven't bought KFC since then. They might have been good once.
And with what your saying about your symptons, it definitely sounds like an attack on your system, quick and violent, like a bacteria.
