Oh football...
So, todays the first game of the season, and I am here in my dorm watching it on TV...damn. My reasons for missing the deadline for student ticket sales is a reasonable one, but I'm still kind of pissed with myself. Well, anyway I managed to get something done. I bought my books. Expensive? Yea, but does knowledge really have a set value? I'm okay with it anyway. I don't think they cost more (maybe just a little) than my book allowance, so I'll be reimbursed shortly. I also got some folder things, and a desk calendar to keep myself on schedule. I started by filling in my 0600 training every Wed, Thurs, and Fri morning. That will suck kinda...
BTW I am officially sworn in as a Midshipman in U of M's NROTC Unit. You should've been there to see me in my dress whites. It was sweet. I'm really happy to have made it through the orientation, and now I will get to go for my dreams. I'm feeling really good about it. Also for you all, here is my campus mailing address:
