First the game, now...
Came home to a giant box sitting on my bed. Yep, full-sized Lancer gun.
It's got some heft to it, I'm hardly a weakling, so imagine how heavy it must be when I say trying to hold it up with 1 hand makes even my arm shake. I can't comment on the noise/vibration it's supposed to do since all the c-cell batteries in my house are dead.
The black handle in the middle folds out and slides into place both further up the side towards the barrel tip and towards the middle. The big black magazine slides out after pulling down the retainer handle on the bottom and tilting the silver with the blue oval dot forward. It's hollow, no simulated bullets or anything. The 3 c-cells pop in at the very back underneath, a small door held on with a phillips head screw keeps it in place. The trigger has a solid feel to it, but not a real trigger pull or a mushy one like on a game controller. The whole thing is plastic, no rubberrized grips or anything.
I can imagine somebody out there modding one of these up to have a butchered 360 controller integrated into it. Project for the 360 fanboy Ben Heckendorn maybe?
