This Weekend
Was amazing! Probably the best weekend of my life. I know before I was upset that I was spending Halloween at Mock Trial, but it was so much fun. I realized how much I missed it and it was the best Halloween ever. The trials went well. We didn't win the tournament, wasn't exactly expecting to, lol, but it went well. College mock trial is radically different from high school and these invitationals were a really good experience because when the season actually starts and every trial effects how far you go, I'll be prepared knowing how things are actually run. I do not know my scores yet, but when I get them back maybe I'll post them, maybe not. XD
Halloween was also amazing for another reason, this boy Marvin, who is my closest friend here, asked me out, and it is already facebook official. Our almost 2 days of relationship have been great. To add to this, I'm pretty sure I'm 100% straight, but that's another topic for another time. So I got back from mock trial and then he asked me out. I went trick or treating for a bit, wearing my Bay View uniform. I didn't get a costume because I didn't think I would be allowed out. O well, it worked.
Sunday I had more Mock Trial. Let me reiterate how much fun it was. My team of 8 is great. However we won't compete together again because they are reshuffling us after this weekends competition at Harvard, which my team is not in. It's sad to think that I'll be working with some different people. I'm sure they're just as much fun. However, we just started growing close. Reshuffling will bring the whole team of 24 together though.
Last night I came back and went out to dinner for my friend Colleen's birthday. I was dead on my feet with exhaustion. I forgot to mention I had to get up at 6:00 on both Saturday and Sunday and we didn't get back to BU until 8:00 and 7;00 at night on Saturday and Sunday respectively. Then Marvin and I had our first "date" studying in his common room.
That is the short version of what happened in my extremely eventful weekend.
