I just got done watching last night's episode, and having left my playlist on random, I turned the volume back up to find this intriguingly apt Magnetic Fields track playing:

Somewhat tenuous maybe, but replace Stephin Merritt and Claudia Gonson with the Chief and Cally and it kind of works. Someone with editing skills should perhaps make a fan video.
