Seriously, why does Siffy feel like they cannot market Caprica without constantly harkening back to BSG? I'm not saying the BSG connection isn't important, in certain ways it is... but I keep shaking my head at how hard they are trying to retain the BSG audience and not attempting to make sure Caprica has its own audience, an audience that appreciates the kind of show it is tonally (which is very different from BSG). Concurrently, there are parts of the BSG audience for whom Caprica just isn't their kind of show and never will be, so why keep constantly trying to cater to them?
Especially now, when they're going to decide on the fate of the show very soon... they should get their shit together.
I can understand that frustration, especially since Ron Moore and David Eick specifically want to go away from the comparisons of BSG and make Caprica its own show without having to maintain the same audience. I understand the need to want to connect the dots in saying that it's part of the same universe, but I agree they should use a different marketing strategy than the BSG tagline.

Also, the third one is my favorite but I'm kind of surprised at the major spoiler in there re: where they're going with Amanda's storyline.
