Character Bio: Garin is the tactical commander of the Resistance. Calculating and perceptive, his intellect and natural talent for strategy have helped this rag-tag army crush Amara's elite forces on many occasions. Garin is closer to Rand than anyone else, having teamed up with the charismatic leader shortly after the coup that rocked Eleysia. He is one of the only people able to stand up to Rand's stubborness. Garin is often at odds with Aliza, as he finds her unwavering adherence to Rand's orders troublesome. He has shared little of his past with the group, leading many to believe he lost much during the war.
