Sociopathic? ... hahaha. How small-minded of you. I would expect more of a fellow researcher. Do you ever step away from your work to consider its effects, or do you merely traipse along the path you have chosen, sure of its pure purpose and immortal worth?

Individually, there are people whose company I find ... tolerable.
