So last week, I wanted to do something, I wanted to put together a nice big benefit to help the people of my native country, something along the lines of YYC4Haiti. Little did I know that there was a group of similar minded people looking to do the same. I immediately offered my full support and I am happy to announce that a group called Calgary Helps Chile (Calgary Ayuda Chile) is putting together a wonderful event on Sunday, March 21st, 2010.

Calgary Helps Chile starts with First Steps to Rebuild Chile, a sponsored walk up the 803 steps of the Calgary tower to raise funds that starts at 9am, goes til noon and culminates with a Silent Auction and Fundraiser at Flames Central at 4pm, with the live entertainment starting at 5pm. All proceeds go towards The Canadian Red Cross Chile Earthquake Relief.
