So tinneetintin requested for a new face-up for her dorrieboy Minimee Hyde.
This made me kind of nervous, honestly.
Because...
I'd never done a Minimee... O_O
LOOK at that FACE. 8 D ♥
I have a crush on him nao kthx.
PRESSURE!!!
My hands were shaking so badly when I was painting the eyelashes, etc.
I almost stopped...
ALMOST.
I told myself to stop being a big baby, reminded myself I could redo it if I screwed up, and in a minute, got over the jitters.
Anyways, I finished it and don't think I have to redo it...
(Unless tinneetintin says I should! :)) )

Apologies for the crap-o shots!
My Canon 450D/Kiss X2 is now at a service center getting replacement parts, and I had to settle for my old PENTAX digicam.
Hyde's eyebrows are really thick! And that immediately breaks away from the ordinary BJD standard...
It was a different experience.
Sorry for the eyelashes, they are temporary ... Unless Tinnee, you wanna keep 'em? ^_^
His realistic sculpt amazes me...
Some shots make him look almost... human! He's amazingly detailed, and has lots of contours to his face.
I really thought I'd have a harder time with him because I was so used to the more generic dorrie molds.

But actually, because I wanted to make him more realistic, and had a reference to work with, I ended up following my instincts and disregarding things like "even eyebrow lines" and making neat lines.
It was a bit easier (for me) than usual. O_o

Now, Hyde's visit to my home won't be complete without a little documentation of his interaction with my boys, of course.
And crap camera or not, I am TAKING my photostories and nothing is gonna stop me. BA-HA-HA... (_ _)||
