I'm not sure how over a month has gone by and I haven't logged onto this account. Oh, wait, I know, freaking three jobs. Yeah, that's it.
I'm alive! Really, and writing when I can. And I'm totally a bitch who hasn't read anything, and I'm totally asking for you to update me. I'm going to TRY to read some stuff tomorrow and catch up, but I can't make any promises.
I have so many ideas for the mall AU. Because Hi, one of the main reasons I haven't been around is because I've been working at the mall. And the Target. And the Wal-Mart. Don't even ask.

"This is Singer," Brendon says, pushing Alex forward. "He's my new protégé and him and Cash are in an epic battle to be my favorite."
Shane smiles at the skinny boy who is shyly hiding behind his long hair. "Hi," Alex says softly. "I'm a big fan of your work."
Brendon rubs Alex's back. "Singer here is doing his best not to flail all over you."
"Brendon!" Alex hisses.
Shane smiles in spite of himself and holds his hand out. "Good to meet you Singer. That's an interesting name."
Alex opens his mouth to say something as he shakes Shane's hand, but Brendon jumps in first. "He's one of the Alexes. You know, from The Cab, that band I told you about and you were supposed to come with me to see and then totally bailed on me for."
Shane rolls his eyes and pointedly ignores Brendon's stare. "I have a life, you know." He feels bad, though, when Alex's face falls. "And I was busy that one night," he amends. "I'm sure that's not the only show The Cab will ever have. I promise to come to the next one."
"Sometimes school gets in the way," Alex says.
Shane desperately hopes that Brendon's new protégé means college, but he's pretty sure that he doesn't.
"I graduate in May though," Alex continues, rocking back and forth on the balls of his feet. "Johnson already dropped out, but I promised my parents I would graduate. "
Shane groans internally. He really shouldn’t be surprised or even bothered anymore, he’s been hanging out with Panic since before they were legal to drink. At least they’d been able to vote by the time he’d met them, however.
