Random tidbits
High on caffeine I'm not really supposed to have.
For the past month or two, Jake's been waking up most days saying, "Want to go outside! It's sunny day!" So we've been doing that a lot. Sometimes it takes some coaxing and reasoning to convince him to eat breakfast before we go out. I can't handle not eating breakfast, lately. I unintentionally did it once, the other day when I had to be somewhere early in the morning, and I felt like shit.
Weather is beautiful: completely idyllic fall-like days, cloudless, no humidity, warm enough for short sleeves but not hot enough to sweat, always a light breeze in the air. It's awesome in the truest sense of the word, and it's been this way for days. I love when the seasons change. I'm ready for summer to go.
It's my birthday, and I have to figure out something I want to do tonight. We have babysitting for the little guy.
