I wrote this quite some time ago. It was for the spring edition of the_quaffle. Never heard anything back from them, but the "contract" of sorts that you "signed" by submitting stuff said that we couldn't post the work until August. It is now the end of August, I have just found the fic again, so I have decided to treat all my wonderful readers by posting it ( Read more... )

Interesting... poor Harry. I liked how the flashbacks were woven in. Can't wait for the next chap of Reclaim, though!

I like this, its got a nice snap too it, its also nice to see the realism of Harry having wants and desires that perhaps what people would consider the norm... as he isn't normal ;0)

Ugh, that hurt, poor Harry he can only save the world.

The tidbits of story played together rather nicely but that must have been your aim, was it not, to contrast the scenes of torture with peaceful happiness? I still do not like torture from the victims point of view (being one of those preferring the city to the syndrome) but I have to commend your mad writing skillz.

I didn't write it so much to costrast, actually, no. Hadn't even realized that it'd worked out like that. ^.^" I just kinda wanted to get readers to think a little, really. Did it work? XD

Brilliant! Wow!

I loved the contrast between then and now. And Harry... he wasn't really broken was he... after all, he adapted... kinda... to his situation and was given a sort of freedom, enough to allow Remus free anyway.

This really was good. Dark, yes, but very very interesting to read.
