I recently acquired a miniature hub for my laptop, as my other hub would have been full, but even worse, it is in storage. Today we went back to the store and bought the power supply that goes with it. We also exchanged the wrist rests we got yesterday for a very nice wrist rest and mousepad combination. It has proved fruitless to get a wrist rest for my keyboard, as it would have to cover the trackpad. Which is bad. We also got the stickers for my BMC mailbox (I never got around to getting stickers for it last year), and my new calligraphy set. I stored the spare ink cartridges in the bottom left drawer... so now in a couple of years, when I run out of ink cartridges that I keep with the pens, I'll know where to look. The new pens aren't interchangable with the old ones; the new ones don't screw shut, instead, the rubber grips keep them closed. Maybe once I put ink cartridges in them, I should store them in ziploc bags. And that was shopping.
Shortly after I began my trip to the first store, I got a call from aedi. He got me news on what we were seeing and where. (Minority Report, Northwoods, 3:25.) I called Justin and Dave to inform them. No word from Dave, Justin was working then. So I went to see the movie with aedi, Red, and James. We saw Justin briefly before the movie, but I didn't get a chance to talk with him as we were looking for Red, so I did not buy popcorn and the like. The movie was good, it had me on the edge of my seat. Beautifully done.
We were caught in the rain on the way out of the theater. Red had walked back to the car with us and it was raining lightly. By the time we made it to aedi's car, it was pouring. We gave Red a lift to his car. Then aedi drove me home.
Tomorrow at 7:30 AM, I get my spinal tap. It was good to get out of the house. :)
Because of the spinal tap, I'll be offline a couple of days, as I have to spend the subsequent 48 hours flat on my back for the most part, except when I'm drinking something caffeinated. Otherwise, I'll get a monster headache and I may get dizzy.
